About the Role:-

Infosys has a career track called Power Programmers for people who know many programming languages and love coding. As a Specialist Programmer, you will work on technologies, work with experienced engineers and build software solutions that are high-quality and can be used by many people.

Key Responsibilities:-

Look at user stories. Use cases to make sure you deliver what is needed.
Help design specifications and technology frameworks.
Sometimes you will deliver high-quality code for applications and databases.
Support the environment and share your knowledge with others.
Deploy solutions. Try out new technologies to see how they work.
Implement services to make sure they meet quality requirements.
Make assets and fix critical production issues.
Look at issues and flag risks so they can be fixed on time.
Fix issues during testing so that the releases are perfect.

Technical Skills that are required:-

You must know one or more of the following:

Application Development:

Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular or React JS, Docker, K8S.
Sometimes you will use Angular or React JS, Next.js or Vue.js, MongoDB, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
You might use C#.NET, ASP.NET Core, MongoDB, AngularJS, ExpressJS or NodeJS.

Data Engineering:

Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, Hive, PostgreSQL, Python or Java, Kafka, Airflow, Beam.

AI Engineering:

Python, Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, NLP, MCP, Prompt or Context Engineering.

Basic Qualifications for Freshers/Graduates:-

Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an institution.
Graduated recently within the 0 – 18 months.
The major should be Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, AI, ML, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
CGPA should be at least 3.0.
Willing to move to any location in the US.
Allowed to work in the US without needing a visa.
