About the SAP Basis Consultant Job:-

Deloitte is looking for a SAP Basis Consultant to work in their Delhi office. This person will do things like set up SAP systems, upgrade existing ones and move data from one system to another. They will also ensure the SAP NetWeaver systems are working properly, including the ABAP and Java components. The SAP Basis Consultant will also be in charge of managing who has access to the system, making sure that people do not have too much power, and keeping an eye on how well the system is working.

Key Responsibilities:-

Do SAP installations, upgrades and migrations and help with these tasks
Set up. Maintain SAP NetWeaver systems, including the ABAP and Java parts
Manage who has access to the system, including user administration and make sure people do not have too much power
Understand the idea of not giving one person too much power
Make sure the system is working well and is available when people need it
Fix problems with the SAP system
Work with companies that help with SAP, like AMS and SAP RISE
Keep track of how the SAP system is set up and how it works
Help with maintenance tasks like planning and doing the work
Make sure the SAP system is up to date with the latest changes and fixes

Required Qualifications & Skills:-

Education:

Deloitte wants someone with a graduate degree in Science or Engineering.

Experience:

The person should have 4 to 6 years of experience working in management or consulting.

Technical Skills:

The person should know about SAP Basis administration, including setting up systems and upgrading existing ones. They should also know about SAP NetWeaver, managing who has access to the system and making sure people do not have too much power. They should be able to monitor the system and fix problems.

Soft Skills:

The person should be good at communicating both in writing and in person. They should be willing to travel for work. They should be a leader and be able to work well with others. They should be able to analyse problems and come up with solutions. They should be able to persuade others and be good with technology.
