About the ASIC DFT Engineer:-

Join Cisco’s Common Hardware Group to deliver silicon for core Switching, Routing and Wireless products. You will work on Hardware DFT features such as ATE, in-system testing, and debugging. You will also develop DFT IP and test logic in RTL and work with the design, verification, and PD teams on full-chip integration and post-silicon validation.

Key Responsibilities:-

Implement Scan, Memory BIST, Boundary Scan and JTAG protocols.
Use EDA tools like TestMax, Tetramax and Tessent for ATPG and gate-level simulation with VCS.
Come up with test and debug strategies that can be used again for silicon, bare die and stacked die.

Qualifications & Skills:-

Education: You need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Experience: You should have 1 to 4 years of experience in DFT.
Technical skills: You should know JTAG, Scan, BIST, ATPG, Tessent, PrimeTime and VCS.
It is preferred if you have experience with -silicon debug, ATE patterns, P1687 and know how to script in Tcl or Python and have knowledge of System Verilog.
