Key Responsibilities:-
- Support the deployment of on-site data center infrastructure
- Install, replace and troubleshoot cables and hardware
- Handle data storage devices like drives and solid state drives
- Work within a ticket-based system
- Move equipment using pallet jacks or other lifting tools
- Help the Datacenter Inventory and Asset Management Team with shipping, receiving and inventory management
- Represent Microsofts culture and values
Required Qualifications:-
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware
- Past or current Microsoft Data Center Academy Student
- Currently. Completed a certificate or degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Pass Microsofts Cloud Background Check
Preferred Qualifications:-
- CompTIA certifications like A+ Server+, Network+ or Basic Structure Cabling (BSC)
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and work at heights for periods
- Good communication skills with stakeholders
- Proficient in written and oral English
- Eager to learn and develop technical skills
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays
