About Google Student Researcher Internship:-

The Google Student Researcher Internship 2026 is now open for freshers and graduates in Bangalore. This program gives you a chance to work on research projects with Google’s research teams, including Google DeepMind, Google Research and Google Cloud.

The Student Researcher Program helps students work with researchers on projects that match Google’s goals for progress.

Minimum Qualifications:-

• You are studying for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics or Natural Sciences.
• You have experience in one area of computer science, such as:
  • Natural Language Understanding
  • Human Computer Interactions
  • Computer Vision
  • Machine Learning
  • Deep Learning
  • Algorithmic Foundations of Optimisation
  • Quantum Information Science
  • Data Science
  • Software Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:-

1. Studying and plan to return to school after the internship.
2. Experience contributing to research communities, such as publishing papers in conferences or journals.
3. Know how to use Python, Java, JavaScript or C/C++.

Responsibilities:-

1. Help with research to solve real-world problems.
2. Work with a team on projects that explore research challenges.
3. Help create technologies.
