Job Description

HCLTech is holding a JAVA Developers Weekend on 1st November 2025 at the Amber Fort office, Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune. This is an exclusive opportunity for experienced professionals who are passionate about building modern, scalable, high-performance applications.

And oh yeah, the recruitment campaign offers two roles:

Full-stack Java developer

Background Java developer

Applicants with more than 4.6 years of experience are welcome to participate. Like Please note that applicants with less experience won’t be considered for this campaign.

Key Responsibilities

For Java Full Stack developers:

You can design and develop scalable web applications using Java Spring Boot and modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React…
Create responsive UI components that are easy to use and integrated with back-end APIs.
Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs for seamless communication between client and server.
Guess what? Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure high-quality services.
Increase application performance speed and cross-browser compatibility.
Participate in code reviews, unit tests, and continuous integration to ensure, ensure strong code quality.
Seriously Troubleshoot, debug, and effectively solve complex technical problems.

Seriously, for Java backend developers:

Design development, and maintenance of backend systems using Java architecture, Spring Boot, and microservices.
Seriously build and optimize RESTful APIs to manage high-performance business applications.
Ensure application scalability, security, and maintainability, with powerful design patterns.

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Science or related field.
Strong academic background with a deep understanding of software development principles.
Java, Spring, or Full Stack Development certification is an added advantage.

Eligibility and Qualifications

At least 4.6 years of relevant Java development experience (required).
Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular (for Full Stack role).
Like Knowledge of databases – MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes processes is recommended.
Preference will be given to applicants with up to 30 days’ immediate notice.

Skills and Experience

Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience in Java 8+ and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
Experience in front-end technologies – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
Strong experience in developing and using REST APIs.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
Hands-on experience with version control, control systems such as Git.
