Job Description – Quality Engineer Automation

As a quality engineer-automation in IBM, you will play an important role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will focus on designing, developing, and implementing automated testing structures and scripts to recognize applications, identify defects, and ensure that software meets both functional and non-functional needs. This role allows you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and professional analysts, to increase product quality and drive efficiency in the test process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using devices such as Selenium, UFT, or IBM Rational Test Scope
• Execute automatic and manual testing cases to ensure the software meets quality standards
• Cooperate with development and product teams to understand the requirements and provide test coverage recommendations
• Providing actionable responses to development teams, identifying, logging, and tracking the log, and tracking defects
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the test structure
• Ensure that regression, performance, and functional tests are integrated in CI/CD pipelines
