EY is looking for motivated, detail-oriented professionals for the position of Consultant – Family Office Services. As a consultant, you will play a critical role in helping family offices and promoter-led companies manage their financial operations, structure, and compliance.
This position requires technical financial expertise and strong consulting skills to assist clients with strategic financial planning, accounting management, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Acts as a key resource on client engagement, providing financial and compliance advice to family offices and promoter-led entities.
- Developing and maintaining a strong point of view (PoV) in financial processes, planning, and building family offices.
- Perform accounting duties in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage tax and legal compliance and corporate integrity, ensuring timely reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Oversees MIS (Management Information System) reports, including budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with external auditors, advisory groups, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth audits and compliance with all financial and legal requirements.
- Prepare budget analyses and financial forecasts to support informed decision-making for clients.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and provide your clients with insight into new compliance requirements.
- Attend client meetings and contribute to improving process efficiency and accuracy.
- Support in establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships by providing high-quality and reliable financial solutions.
Education and Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is acceptable.
- A degree in commerce, accounting, or economics is required.
- Additional certifications, such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA, are helpful.
Eligibility and Experience
- Experience: 1–3 years in a finance role within an Indian promoter-led organization or a family office setup.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience in Tally and other financial software.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, Taxation Laws, and Company Law.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion.
- Team player with strong collaboration and analytical capabilities.
