Job Description
Accenture is hiring professionals for its Insurance Operations domain, where the goal is to redefine customer experience and accelerate innovation in the insurance industry. The role focuses on helping insurers adopt intelligent operating models that combine technology, data, and process excellence to ensure sustainable growth.
You will be part of Intelligent Insurance Operations, which integrates advisory, technology, and operational expertise to meet the evolving needs of the insurance landscape. This team supports global clients in managing property and casualty insurance, ensuring smooth claims settlement, and safeguarding clients’ tangible assets, properties, and income.
The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools, collaborate with underwriters, and analyze data that supports global insurance operations — all within a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with Client Underwriters (CUW) to provide detailed account overviews based on various Lines of Business (LoB).
- Perform data cleansing, enhancement, coding, and modeling to ensure accuracy for underwriting and catastrophe teams worldwide.
- Translate and process submission data files into system-recognizable formats within defined time frames.
- Verify geo-coding and geo-fencing information through specialized tools and satellite imagery.
- Model accounts to estimate catastrophe losses across multiple perils using advanced modeling techniques.
- Support in analyzing and validating large datasets to help underwriters make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure all account-level information is standardized, accurate, and aligned with the company’s quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accountability in all deliverables.
- Be open to working in rotational shifts as per business requirements.
Education and Qualifications
- A graduate or post-graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with specialized certification or training in insurance, analytics, or data operations will have an added advantage.
- A sound understanding of property and casualty (P&C) insurance, underwriting principles, and claims management processes is beneficial.
Skills and Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — ability to interpret data and identify trends or inconsistencies.
- Quick learning agility to adapt to new tools, processes, and client requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with global teams.
- Good understanding of insurance operations, data cleansing, and geo-coding/geo-fencing techniques.
- Ability to handle complex datasets and ensure high-quality data modeling and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, data tools, and a keen interest in analytics and automation.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- A strong sense of ownership, teamwork, and accountability.
